For Haley Birtcher, CRM & Marketing Manager at Integrion Automation, manufacturing is more than a career path, it’s a lifelong connection. Her story reflects the kind of deep-rooted experience and personal growth that has helped shape the company’s culture over time.

Haley first got her start with the company at age 13, working as an office assistant while her uncle was building the business. From there, she took on a range of responsibilities, including filing paperwork, quality checking parts, shipping and packaging, and later job entry and inside sales. Over the years, her role evolved alongside the company, eventually leading her into marketing and CRM, where she now helps share Integrion’s story with customers. 39

“My uncle actually started this company. I started working here when I was 13 as an office assistant,” Haley said. “Over the years I helped with checking parts, shipping, whatever was needed really. Once I graduated high school I took a position with our sales team doing job entry. Pretty quickly I found my love for people and moved into an Inside Sales role.”

That early exposure gave Haley a broad view of the business and a strong foundation for the work she does today. “In 2021, I had the opportunity to move into a full time marketing and CRM role. With my background I was really able to help share our story with our customers,” she said.

Growing into the job and the industry

Haley’s role has changed significantly over the years, but she sees that evolution as part of what makes her experience meaningful. She entered the company with no degree and no prior experience, but with a strong willingness to learn.

“I started here with no degree, no experience but an eagerness to be and do more,” she said. “Over the years I have gotten invaluable hands-on experience, been supported through traditional schooling and challenged to do more than I thought I could.”

For Haley, that support has made a lasting difference. It helped her build technical knowledge, develop professionally, and contribute to the company in a new way through marketing and CRM.

What growing up in manufacturing means

When Haley thinks about the phrase “growing up in manufacturing,” she sees her own life story reflected in it. 009

“It’s me,” she said. “I started at 13....the people at this company watched me go through my teenage years, my twenties, meet my husband and get married, and settle into being an adult. This place shaped so much of who I am.”

That kind of continuity is part of what makes Integrion’s story unique. For Haley, the company has been present through every stage of her life, and that long-term connection has given her a perspective that is both personal and professional.

Advice for the next generation

For those just beginning a career in manufacturing or automation, Haley’s advice is to find a workplace that offers both connection and support.

“Find a place that you feel connected to,” she said. “If you want to build a career, you want to find a place that is willing to invest in you, put faith in you, and support you along the way.”

Her own journey reflects that advice. She built her career step by step within one organization, learning from others and growing into new responsibilities over time.

Pride in the company’s story

Looking back, Haley says what she values most is the opportunity to have grown with the company and witnessed its evolution firsthand.

“Everything,” she said when asked what makes her most proud to be part of the story. “I wouldn't have the industry experience I have today if it weren't for leaders putting their faith in me manyMisc 2018 - Heather Hood, Haley Birtcher years ago. I have seen it go through hard times and really great times. The evolution has been amazing to be a part of.”

Her story reflects the value of long-term commitment, strong mentorship, and a workplace culture that invests in its people. At Integrion Automation, Haley’s journey is part of the company’s larger story,  one built on experience, trust, and growth.
